Brainstorm

Brainstorming is a problem-solving activity in which students practice or improve their higher order thinking skills. Encourages creative thinking. Brainstorming encourages students to think creatively, and it encourages all students to share their ideas, no matter how "out there" they appear. Students are able to collaborate in learning when they are supported by a relaxed environment. Brainstorming sessions are an effective way to promote genuine collaboration and interaction in the classroom. Creating a well-stated problem and careful planning strategies can result in meaningful idea generation and idea building that can be used to solve problems or address specific course-related issues.

Mental Health and WellBeing

At Tara's International School, we recognize the importance of mental health and wellbeing in our student's overall development and success. A healthy mind is essential for a successful and fulfilling life. Therefore, we are committed to creating a supportive environment promoting mental health and wellbeing. Our school has a team of trained professionals, including counsellors and social workers, who can support students' mental health and wellbeing needs. They provide confidential counselling and support services to help students manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. We also prioritize promoting mental wellness through our curriculum and extracurricular activities. For example, we offer a variety of wellness programs, such as mindfulness meditation, yoga, and fitness classes, to promote physical and mental wellbeing. Our school also provides opportunities for students to engage in community service and leadership activities, which can boost self-esteem and confidence. In addition, we have policies and procedures in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students. For example, we have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying and harassment. We encourage students to speak up if they or someone they know is experiencing any form of mistreatment. By prioritizing mental health and wellbeing, we can help our students become resilient, healthy, and prosperous individuals who can contribute positively to their communities and the world.
