We have a house point system at Tara’s International School that stimulates healthy competition and develops school spirit among our kids. Our house point system is intended to recognize and reward exemplary behaviour, academic performance, and community service.
Our school is divided into several houses, Owl, Eagle, and Phoenix, and each is named after a different value or principle we strive to promote. One residence, for example, could be named after the importance of kindness, while another after the idea of academic brilliance.
Students can accumulate house points in a variety of ways, including:
- Exhibiting positive behaviour, such as kindness, respect, and accountability
- Extracurricular activities and school events participation
- Obtaining academic achievements, such as high marks or considerable progress in their studies
Participating in service initiatives or taking up leadership responsibilities in the school community
We offer frequent house competitions and activities throughout the year, such as sports tournaments, talent displays, and academic challenges. Participation and achievement in these events are rewarded with house points, and the house with the highest points at the end of the year is acknowledged and celebrated.
Our house point system creates a healthy school atmosphere and assists kids in developing fundamental values and skills like teamwork, leadership, and perseverance.
