About Our International School

TIS, also known as Tara’s International School, is a pleasant and welcoming community located at 70/71, block (28), quarter 2 in Thumingalar, Pyin Oo Lwin. It offers academic programs from the Preschool to the Secondary Level (IGCSE). We will endeavor to encourage lifelong learning and create a safe, healthy, and caring environment for children in response to the rapidly changing demands of the educational system. Our curriculum is based on the British curriculum and incorporates a worldwide perspective. It is comprised of three phases: Reception, Primary, and Secondary, and adheres to the UK Curriculum. As an academically focused school, we like collaborating with students, parents, teachers, and the administration in order to help our children reach their greatest academic achievement.

TIS provides our students with the finest quality education, the greatest variety of options, and the most engaging learning experiences possible. Throughout their journey, we also encourage our students to explore diverse fields outside of the classroom in order to discover their own passions and abilities.

According to our school rules, the points will be given out by teachers. The points can be added or deducted on students’ performance:

• Academic work
• Positive mindset
• Respectful and politeness
• Responsibility and independency throughout their academic year.

Children will earn individual and team points. Later on, it will contribute to their house points. To make our learners easily track on how well they have done so far, each child can assess their account where they have an opportunity to see their scores and can change their avatar.
