This week, students from Reception Year 2 students, looked at the birds through binoculars in the school environment and drew what they looked like. They also learned about the animals that hatch from eggs and why they need nests, so this lesson teaches children from an early age how important birds are in the ecosystem. We were taught how to build and benefit birds’ nests.
